 Kindergarten Age

The Children's Montessori and Preparatory School (CMS) offers a kindergarten-aged Montessori program for student in a safe, friendly, and caring environment. We accept students into the program anytime throughout the year, providing there is space available.

Our Casa program focuses on the development of the whole child - following the Montessori Method of education, while offering additional learning opportunities, such as computer skills, French language introduction, STEM exploration, and performing arts.

In the CMS Casa classroom, children build foundations that lead to future successes in their elementary years.  In the Montessori environment, children ;earn how to self-regulate effectively and often thrive academically, socially, and emotionally - becoming flexible and creative life-long learners.

The main areas of focus in the CMS Casa classroom are:

  • Mathematics

  • Language arts

  • Practical life

  • Sensorial education

  • Cultural studies

  • Science instruction and exploration

  • Arts (music, visual art, and drama)

  • Computer skills

  • French
