CMS Student Awards 2008


Peterborough Legion Speech competition 2008

This year CMS had another great showing at the annual Peterborough Legion Speech competition held in March. Congratulations to Autumn Bell LE 1 for placing First in the Junior Division. Finbar McCracken UE received a Honourable mention for placing Third in the Senior Division.

Autumn Bell advanced to the Legion Speech Competition Zone Finals held in Havelock where she placed Second in her division. Congratulations to Autumn and to all of the CMS students who participated in the Speech Contest. Once again you have made us proud.

Congratulations Noah Storey for 1st place at the Spelling Bee 2008

Due to the cancellation of The Spelling Bee in Peterborough; Noah Storey was able to participate in the Oshawa/ Whitby Regional Spelling Bee on April 12, 2008. The trip was well worth it as Noah won first place in the Junior division. Congratulations Noah, we wish you luck at the Provincial Spelling Bee competition in Toronto this May.

Congratulations Spelling Bee Participants 2007
Once again, our students shone brightly at the 3rd Annual Regional Spelling Bee of Canada Competition held on Saturday April 21st, 2007. One of our students will proceed to the Provincial competition held in Toronto in May. Good Luck Deborah! Do CMS Proud!
